Boredkidsclub Art Submission Terms & Conditions

These Art Submission Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all artwork submitted to BoredKidsClub ("BoredKidsClub," "we," "our," or "us"). By submitting artwork, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Artwork may be submitted by individuals up to the age of 18

If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Original Artwork

By submitting artwork, you represent and warrant that:

  • The artwork is your original creation or you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it.

  • The artwork does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights.

  • The artwork does not contain unlawful, defamatory, hateful, threatening, or obscene material.

  • You have permission from anyone who is recognizable in the artwork, if applicable.

3. Ownership

You retain full ownership and copyright of your artwork.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your artwork to BoredKidsClub.

4. License Granted to BoredKidsClub

By submitting artwork, you grant BoredKidsClub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to:

  • Review and evaluate your submission.

  • Display your artwork on the BoredKidsClub website.

  • Feature your artwork on BoredKidsClub social media accounts.

  • Include your artwork in online galleries, newsletters, promotional materials, presentations, and community showcases.

  • Use your artwork to promote BoredKidsClub, its artists, and future art initiatives.

  • Resize, crop, or optimize submitted files for display while preserving the integrity of the artwork.

This license does not grant BoredKidsClub the right to sell your artwork or transfer ownership without your separate written permission.

5. Artist Credit

Whenever reasonably possible, BoredKidsClub will credit the artist using the name, artist name, or username provided during submission.

6. AI-Generated Artwork

If any artificial intelligence (AI) tools were used to create or significantly modify your artwork, you must disclose that information during submission.

BoredKidsClub reserves the right to accept, reject, or categorize AI-assisted artwork separately from fully original works.

7. Content Standards

Submissions may not contain:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory content.

  • Harassment or threats.

  • Explicit sexual content or nudity.

  • Graphic violence or excessive gore.

  • Illegal content.

  • Malware or harmful embedded files.

  • Material that infringes on another person's rights.

BoredKidsClub may remove or reject any submission that violates these standards.

8. No Compensation

Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific contest or promotion, submitting artwork does not entitle you to payment, royalties, prizes, or compensation.

If a contest includes prizes, the applicable contest rules will govern those awards.

9. Removal Requests

You may request that BoredKidsClub stop using your artwork in future promotional materials by contacting us.

While we will make reasonable efforts to honor removal requests, materials that have already been printed, published, distributed, or archived may not be able to be recalled or modified.

10. Right to Refuse or Remove

BoredKidsClub reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, remove, or discontinue displaying any submission at any time and for any reason.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BoredKidsClub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the submission process or the use of submitted artwork.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BoredKidsClub, its officers, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your submission or your breach of these Terms.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during the submission process is governed by the BoredKidsClub Privacy Policy for Art Submissions.

14. Changes to These Terms

BoredKidsClub may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will become effective when posted on our website.
